Pattern
On a natural ground, we used lacquer red/mid blue/yellow for the border. Other suggestions: peat brown/bottle/yellow on camel; lacquer red/charcoal/royal blue on silver birch; lovat green/white/hazelnut on natural.

Shetland-style by nature, very latest thing to be snapped up by the trendsetters. Fair Isle band introduces colour to the plain jersey that everyone knows so well.
Materials:
- Five two-ounce balls of Patons Fiona in main colour for the 34 or 36-inch bust size; six balls for the 38-inch buit size.
- For any one size: one bail of the same yarn in red, one ball in blue and one bаll in yellow
- A pair each of UK No. 9 and No. 11 knitting needles.
Tension:
Work at a tension of 6 stitches to one inch in width over the stocking stitch, using No. 9 needles, to obtain the measurements given above.
