Focal point is the Fair Isle yoke—we used a mauvey theme with wedgwood for the body part, repeated with larkspur, helio and white for the patterning. Other ideas include moorat brown with natural fawn/orange/brown, petrol blue with ice blue/hazel/natural fawn.

On a natural ground, we used lacquer red/mid blue/yellow for the border. Other suggestions: peat brown/bottle/yellow on camel; lacquer red/charcoal/royal blue on silver birch; lovat green/white/hazelnut on natural.
