This colorful asymmetrical shawl has loads of texture due to the various stitches used throughout the shawl. A key feature is a horizontal stripe containing opposing stitches on either side of the shawl’s spine for a funky touch.

This shawl, due to its unique shape, can be worn a variety of ways and will drape its wearer beautifully.

You will need approximately 400 yards of yarn to make this shawl. You can use yarn already in your stash to make the stripes and about 215 yards for the main color of your shawl.

Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece yarn in the following colors were used to make the shawl in the photos: Terracotta Canyon, Putty, Slate Charcoal and Nymph.

STITCHES AND TECHNIQUES YOU NEED TO KNOW:
You will need to know how to knit (k) and purl (p) stitches, knit two stitches together (k2tog) and do yarn overs (yo) in order to complete this shawl.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:
Finished shawl measures approximately 52” across the top edge, 16” in height, 28” across the bottom edge.
