*Miriam* is constructed in a special way. It begins with a long and narrow patterned strip that – knitted separately – could even be worn as a scarf.
Then, the stitches along one long side of the strip are picked up to knit the second part.

No sewing or grafting is required.

The photo at the left upper corner of the collage only shows one half of the stole – the other half is identical.

The pattern is fully charted!

*Miriam* ist auf eine besondere Art konstruiert. Sie beginnt mit einem langen und schmalen gestricktem Streifen, der --separat gestrickt-- als Schal verwendet werden kann.
Dann werden an einer langen Seite die Maschen aufgenommen, um den zweiten Teil zu stricken.

Auf dem Bild ist links oben aus Platzgründen nur eine Hälfte abgebildet, die andere Hälfte ist spiegelbildlich.
