History can be traced through layer upon layer of geological
strata, and these layered stripes of sedimentary rock have
formed over eons. Luckily the colorful stripes of this
beginners’ brioche pattern won’t take nearly as long!

Strata is worked in the round, striping up the WS with an
occasional pop of color on the RS. The intermediate CO &
BO make the project fully reversible, whereas the beginner
instructions create a clear RS and WS.

If working with scraps, each stripe requires 4 (5, 10)g of
Swish DK plus 1 additional gram for CO & BO.
