stretched the line
this pillow is built on the different textures of the two yarns, not difficult stitches or techniques. the knitting itself is relaxing and all the loose ends (or carryovers) from the color changes wind up on the inside so there is room to not be overly meticulous about them. ahh.
the stripes are deeper at the one end and narrow at the other just for fun. my kids like that it can look like nearly two differnt pillows depending on which end you’re seeing.
you can recover any 16” x 16” pillow or use a brand spanking new pillow form. inside the pillow in the photos is an old favorite of mine that just got too worn to be left alone but was too perfectly squishy to get rid of.
feel free to contact me through ravelry or at talithakuomi@live.com with any questions.
Knit Picks has taken this pattern under their wing. You can see the bulky weight yarn version of it here.
