This hoodie, equally suited to boy or girl, has a front zipper closure, ribbed, turn back cuffs and integral pockets. A cord made from the main shade yarn is threaded through the hood edging.
The pockets, front edges and hood are edged in stocking stitch, turned to the right side and stitched down - a technique familiar to machine knitters. The body is knitted in one piece to the armholes to minimise the need to match stripes to simplify sewing up. The body and sleeve lengths are adjustable but do ensure that any changes still allow the pieces to finish on the same pattern row as indicated, otherwise the Body and Sleeve stripes will not match.
