The Stroller Sack is an alternative to a traditional baby blanket that won’t slide out of a stroller or car seat and that is more difficult for baby to kick off.

Made in chunky yarn, with size 10 (6 mm) needles, this sack works up quickly to make a soft, squishy, cozy “sleeping bag” that uses significantly less yarn than the average baby blanket.

It’s worked seamlessly, from the bottom up, using Judy’s Magic Cast-On and the magic loop method at the beginning. After you get started, the knitting is very easy, using a knit/purl pattern and a basic cable border.
