Suncatcher shawl begins at the narrow tip and grows into a beautiful accent piece which is easy to make as small or large as you wish. The instructions are written for three sizes, which use 1 (2, 3) skeins of yarn.

MATERIALS

  • Yarn: Malabrigo Sock; light fingering / 3 ply; 440 yd (402 m) per 100 g skein; 100% merino wool
  • Hook: 3 mm (try US size C/2, UK size 11 or Japan size 5/0)
  • Yarn needle to weave in ends

YARDAGE

  • 1 (2, 3) skeins in shade 803 Ochre

GAUGE (BLOCKED)

  • 20 sts and 10 rows measured over dc sts = 4″ (10 cm)

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS

  • Small (Medium, Large)
