You will be working in the round for this pattern, first for making the circles of the sun, then for adding the points.

Materials and tools:
You will need 3.75mm (US 5) double-pointed needles and cable needle (or appropriate needles to meet the gauge) Gauge: 21 sts and 28 rows = 10cm

This little toy requires:
Drops Melody in colour 18 Mustard (chunky) x 2 50g balls
Mayflower Birmingham in colour 22 Honey (4ply) x 2 50g balls
These two yarns (chunky and 4ply) are held together throughout.

If you are unable to get Drops Melody in Mustard, you can use two strands of Mayflower Birmingham in colour 22 Honey held with 1 strand of Drops Brushed Alpaca Silk in colour 19 Curry. You will need 4 balls of the Mayflower Birmingham and 2 balls of the Drops Brushed Alpaca Silk if you do this combination.

You will also need wool stuffing and an embroidery needle
