Note
This shawl is started in the center with a short tab of stockinette stitch. Extra stitches are then picked up along the three sides of the tab. Increases are worked on both ends and on either side of the center column of stitches. The body of the shawl is worked in a plaid pattern. Reverse stockinette stitch creates the main texture of the plaid pattern while rows of MC or CC are alternated. After the body is completed, the hem is worked in 2x2 rib using only CC. To complete the plaid texture, lines of CC are embroidered on afterwards.

このショールは中心から編んでいく. メリヤス編みで小さ いタブを作り, 3辺から目を拾い, 両端と中心の両隣で増 目しながら編む. ショール本体は格子パターンで編む. 裏 メリヤス編みでMCとCCを交互に編みながら下地となる 編み地を作り, CCでヘムを2目ゴム編みで編んだ後に, CC で本体に刺繍することにより格子柄になる.
