Take Two Tank Top
Take two granny squares, add a few rows here and there, and voila! you have yourself a tank top! The body length is adjustable depending on whether you want a longer top or a more cropped top for those trendy pre-teens. All seams are joined with the JAYG (Join-As-You-Go) technique so there is no sewing apart from sewing in your ends.
Method:
This tank top is constructed by making two granny squares, adding shoulder tabs, joining the shoulder and side seams, and adding length to the body. Ribbing is then added at the neck, armholes, and bottom hem to complete the garment.
This pattern uses UK terminology and the following stitches:
Chain, slip stitch, double crochet, half treble crochet, treble crochet , back post half treble crochet, and front post half treble crochet.
The pattern also includes charts and diagrams.
