Tante Ela (named after my sister Daniela and the way Max called her for years ;)

is a casual hat, worked in the round from the brim to the top. The cute pattern on this hat is knitted with only one color on any given round. Working slip stitches, and the “magical” k1-uls result in a beautiful textured stripe pattern, making it a perfect introduction to colorwork. An optional pompom is worked last.
