This tunic is worked entirely in the round from the neck down and seamlessly, except for a small seam under the arms. It’s a chunky yarn on big needles so it works up fast and there is very minimal finishing. I like froo froo fashionista details, so this garment is shaped with fully fashioned increases at the sides. Let’s face it, being quirky and dancing to the beat ofyour own drum is good, but being detail oriented gives knits a more high fashion look, which is also good.

As a nonconformist and a nonconformknitter, I encourage you to adapt this pattern to your style. Some ways to do this are color or yarn substitutions, stitch pattern variations and length variations. (Keep in mind that some adaptations will change the amount of yarn required to complete the project). Go forth and knit to the beat of your own drum!

PATTERN NOTES
This pattern is worked circularly from the top down. The pattern is seamless, with the exception of a seam at the armhole. The underbust measurement has negative ease for a snug fit and definition.

Seed stitch in the round: Start with a knit stitch, then alternate between knit and purl to the end of round, slip marker, then purl the first stich of the new round regardless of what the last stitch of the previous round was. Start all odd rounds with a knit stich; all even rounds with a purl stitch.

Kfb: Knit into the front and back of the stitch
Sm: Slip marker
RLI: Lift the stitch below the stitch on the left needle and knit it.
LLI: Lift the stitch below the stitch you just knit on the right needle, and knit it.
