She can be made in any yarn and hook combination you want. Just be certain that the fabric is firm enough that stuffing does not show through.

My Triceratops is made in I Love This Yarn! Solids in two colors:

• Color 1: Medium Blue (160 yards)
• Color 2: White (10 yards)

Tess is an Intermediate-level pattern. Skills you will need include single crochet, increases, decreases, double crochet and front-post double crochet, and some seaming.
