You will also need:
• 1 yard (1/2 meter) cotton batting
• Marker or pencil for outlining
• Two (2) 1 ½” (35mm) diameter buttons

Every time I would see a particular chair in my dining space, I would start to envision a nice round seat cushion for it. I would plot in my mind the best way to approach the design, and in the end, this is what sprang forth. Made in two parts and seamed along the side (again, that lovely linear outer crochet seam!), it is filled with layers of 100% cotton batting, making it completely machine washable. I really loved the blues and greens of the Lion Brand Heartland yarns, which fits in nicely with many of my interior spaces.
