Interpretations Vol. 8 is here! This year brings you the charming 8th collaboration between Joji Locatelli and Veera Välimäki. This collection includes six themes, six words with two designs inspired by each word, showing a personal take on each of these themes.

In 2021 we continued to work together virtually. We found this to be a great opportunity to show you a bit of our home countries. We did the photoshoots separately in our respective major cities: Helsinki and Buenos Aires. Joji’s pictures are taken by Claudia Salazar, Veera’s Jonna Jolkin.

A fun, triangular shawl that starts at the border with some modular knitting and ends with easy garter stitch and stripes throughout the body.
It uses two colors of your favorite worsted-weight yarn.

Finished measurements: Finished measurements: 72” 180 cm wide and 28” 70 cm at deepest point.

Yarn: 3 skeins of Primo Worsted by The Plucky Knitter (70% Merino / 20% Cashmere / 5% Nylon; 200 yds 183 m / 115 g), or approx. 2 skeins in color 1 and 1 skein in color 2.
Approx 284 yards 311 m of worsted-weight yarn in color 1 and approx 117 yards 128 m of worsted-weight yarn in color 2.
Sample shown in colorways Deep Dish (colour 1, gray) and Cuddle Bug (colour 2, yellow).
Needles: US 8 5 mm circular needles, about 40” long. You may want to use a spare needle or a long stitch holder to put your stitches on hold. If you are using spare needle, needle toppers are a great idea to keep stitches from sliding off.
Other: Stitch marker, tapestry needle, blocking pins or wires.

12.5 sts and 30 rows = 4” 10 cm on US 8 5 mm needles in Garter stitch, after blocking.
