The Mcn Slouchy Beanie.
By Corrado Lark.

Backstory:

Released for free as a dedication to my favorite knitting podcast, the Legacy Knitz Podcast.

The beginning of the hat starts with a fun brim pattern that replaces the mundane act of knitting a ton of ribbing. Or, at the very least, adds some interest to the process.

The Middle is perfect podcast, tv, or movie knitting. You can totally knit this beanie watching whatever you like, but clearly I’m partial to one of the afformentioned options.

The end of the pattern uses a simple twist on your standard decreases and tapers to a close.

Needs:

US 2 (2.75 mm) 16” circular needle.
US 2 (2.75 mm) magic looping circular needle.

A darning needle and stitch marker.

Gauge: 24 stitches and 44 rows per 4” blocked stockinet.

1 skein of any tonal sock weight yarn, ideally a
Merino/Cashmere/Nylon blend. Legacy Fiber Artz Cozy Toes
preferred.

Finished Measurements: 11” wide and 8” in depth. An adult medium.
