The Nordic Queen Poncho

Embrace regal comfort with the Nordic Queen Poncho, a sophisticated top-down design that blends elegance with ease. Whether you prefer a sleek ribbed cowl or the cosy embrace of a hood. Finished with a delicate picot border, this poncho is the ultimate statement piece for your wardrobe. A matching “Nordic Princess” version for children is also currently in development!

Stitches & Techniques Used:

Foundation: Top-down construction, worked in the round.

Stitch Work: A beautiful combination of classic Double Crochet (DC) and rich post stitches to create striking texture.

Details: Airy mesh panels for drape, integrated ribbing for the cowl/hood, and a decorative picot edge.

Yarn: Designed using Papatya Batik; however, any DK weight yarn works beautifully for this design.

Size: Standard Fit (Highly adjustable).

Options: Includes both Cowl and Hooded versions.

Languages: English (US/UK) & German.

Series: Matching “Nordic Princess” (Child) in progress.

Style: Regal, textured, and sophisticated.
