The Power of Three

Based on the construction of my Cecil shawl, I have designed 3 versions of a one skein shawl. Named after three characters from the TV show Charmed, they are Paige – the garter one, Phoebe - the textured one & Piper - the lace one, together they make up The Power of Three.
The shawls have been designed with the right wingspan and depth to use up one skein of fingering weight yarn. It is the perfect opportunity to use those lonely or very special skeins that most of us have in our stash to create a beautiful accessory to keep or gift.
Instructions for getting the most out of a single skein are given on page 3 of the pattern.
Of course, you could knit these designs in any weight yarn, but you would need different amounts and may need to adjust pattern repeats to get the desired dimensions.

Information:
Yarn: Each pattern requires approximately 425m of fingering weight yarn. If your skein has less, or more, you can still use it, see the instructions on page 3.
Paige Sample: 1 x 100g (425m) Merino Sock from Birdstreet Yarn in the colour Gingerbread Martini; Phoebe Sample: 2 x 50g (500m) Merino Cotton from Knitting for Olive in the colour Dark Ocher; Piper Sample: 1 x 100g (425m) Merino Sock (SW Merino & Nylon) from Birdstreet Yarn in colour Ephemera.
