The Sailor’s Wife is the second sock in a collection of boot socks that are all sea-themed. My husband’s 20 years of service in the U.S. Navy was the inspiration behind this collection of socks. I couldn’t let him have all the fun and all the socks, so I sat down and designed a pair of boot socks that would honor all the Navy wives who faithfully stand by their sailor husbands. The Sailor’s Wife is a cuff down sock, with that cable and heart motif carried down the heel flap.
