Ale: third and last shawl of a series of three. I’ve “translated” into knitting the personality of my sisters and myself. We are very similar (the shawls will have the same shape) but, at the same time, very different (the stitches will depict differences).
Ale short for Alessandra, is my first sister, she is “variegated”, the artist of the family! She can play several instruments, she can sing and she can use words in a magic way, just to list a few. She is a dreamer, with positive attitude toward life. She loves to experience just about whatever she can, all the drops in the shawl. When you think she has too much on her plate she surprised you with more tasks completely different, all the holes in the ladder stitch. The design of the shawl incorporate all the sides of her personality, showing her balance and her richness.

Pattern includes written directions. It’s a great design for showcasing a variety of yarns from solid to variegated.

Construction: This shawl is worked in a triangular style, top down but, several locations of increases create a wide scarf/shawlette. The final shape it’s not a Triangle :-)

Size: ExtrasSmall, Small and Medium

Difficulty: Easy to intermediate.
