This simple, pretty shawl, with its stylized stitch pattern, has the rural taste of my home region, combined with the elegance of a light, lacy accessory, made unique by the superb Eden Cottage Yarns Milburn blend.
The easy to memorize stitch pattern allows for an interesting but easy knit, and the triangular shape makes the shawl easily wearable. The shawl can be easily modified in dimension.
If you like small bobbles, eyelets and pretty little things, this is the shawl for you!
Adding tassels or even fringes may add a touch of rustic appearance if you like it!

GAUGE after blocking: 18 sts x 24 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm / 4” x 4” in garter stitch; one repeat of the lace pattern meas 6.5 cm x 7 cm / 2.5” x 2.75”
Gauge is not critical; different gauge will only affect finished size and yardage.
FINISHED SIZE after wet blocking: wingspan 164 cm / 64.5”; depth at the deepest point 75 cm / 29.5”.
