The Thresher Hooded Pullover is the perfect mix of everyday and elevated. The classic hooded silhouette features a richly cabled kangaroo pocket that shines against the mostly stockinette sweater. This pullover is worked from the top down, beginning with the hood.

Finished Size 36 ¾ (40 ¼, 44, 47 ¾, 50 ½, 55, 60 ¾, 65)“ circumference at underarm. Pullover shown measures 40 ¼”; modeled with ¾“ of negative ease.
Yarn Jo Sharp Classic DK Wool (100% wool; 107 yd 98 m/ 1 ¾ oz 50 g): #361 Flax, 15 (16, 18, 19, 20, 22, 24, 26) skeins. Yarn distributed by Halcyon Yarn.
Needles Size 3 (3.25 mm): 32” circular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Size 5 (3.75 mm): straight, 32” cir, and set of dpn. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Markers (m); stitch holders; cable needle (cn); tapestry needle.
Gauge 22 sts and 29 rnds = 4” in St st on larger needle.

This pullover is worked back and forth from the top down, beginning with the hood, to the bottom of the front neck, then the work is joined in the round. The body and sleeves are worked circularly to the underarm, then the body and sleeves are worked separately in the round.
