“Through Rose-coloured Glasses” is a short bottom-up sweater.
It has an oversized line and the body is almost entirely decorated with a simple, easy to memorize lace stitch.
The shoulder section is knit in stockinette stitch and shaped with short rows. Close fitting three quarter length sleeves complete the sweater and balance the lines of the garment.
The mock turtleneck and sleeve borders are embellished with the same lace stitch used for the body of the sweater.

Sizes:
XS (S, M, L, XL, XXL, XXXL) to fit a 76 (86, 96.5, 106.5, 117, 127, 137) cm – 30 (34, 38, 42, 46, 50, 54) in bust.
The sweater is intended to be worn with approx. 25/35 cm – 10/14 in positive ease at bust.
Shown in size L on a 106 cm – 41 ¾ in woman.

Finished measurements:
Bust circumference: 101 (109, 124, 139, 147, 162, 170) cm – 39 ¾ (43, 48 ¾, 54 ¾, 58, 63 ¾, 67) in.
Length from underarm: 30 (30, 32, 32, 34, 36, 36) cm – 12 (12, 12 ½, 12 ½, 13 ¼, 14 ¼, 14 ¼) in.
Sleeves length: 23 (23, 23, 23, 25, 25, 27) cm – 9 (9, 9, 9, 10, 10, 10 ¾) in from underarm.

Gauge:
18.5 sts and 28 rounds = 10 cm – 4 in in st st (worked in the round and after blocking).

Yarn and Needles:
ROWAN Kidsilk Haze colour SH583 (Lace yarn; 70% Mohair and 30% Silk; 210 m – 230 yds / 25 g – 0.88 oz. skein): 5 (5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7) skeins;
ROWAN Fine Lace colour SH00925 (Lace yarn; 80% Alpaca and 20% Wool; 400 m – 437 yds / 50 g – 1.76 oz. skein): 3 (3, 3, 3, 4, 4, 4) skeins;
(850 910, 1040, 1160, 1230, 1350, 1410 m – 930 996, 1138, 1269, 1346, 1477, 1542 yds).
These two yarns are worked together.
Two circular needles:
3.5 mm – US 4 with a 80 cm – 32 in cable (one is used only for the shoulder bind-off).
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Other:
2 stitch markers.
Scrap yarn.
Tapestry needle and scissors.
Pins and a tape measure for blocking.

“Through Rose-coloured Glasses” è un corto pullover lavorato dal basso verso l’alto.
La linea è oversized e il corpo è decorato quasi interamente con un motivo in pizzo semplice e facilmente memorizzabile.
La sezione delle spalle è lavorata a maglia rasata e modellata con l’uso dei ferri accorciati.
Le maniche hanno lunghezza a tre quarti e sono strette per riequilibrare le proporzioni.
Il collo a dolcevita e i bordi delle maniche sono decorate con lo stesso pizzo usato per il corpo.

Taglie:
XS (S, M, L, XL, XXL, XXXL) e vestono un giro seno di 76 (86, 96.5, 106.5, 117, 127, 137) cm.
Se desiderate la stessa vestibilità del modello in foto, dovrete scegliere una misura più grande di circa 25/35 cm del vostro attuale giro seno.
Le foto si riferiscono alla taglia L indossata da una modella con giro seno di 106 cm.

Misure finite:
Circonferenza del seno: 101 (109, 124, 139, 147, 162, 170) cm.
Lunghezza dallo scalfo: 30 (30, 32, 32, 34, 36, 36) cm.

ROWAN Fine Lace colore SH00925 (80% Alpaca e 20% Lana; 400 m per gomitolo da 50 g): 3 (3, 3, 3, 4, 4, 4) gomitoli;
(850 910, 1040, 1160, 1230, 1350, 1410 m).
lavorare insieme i due filati.
Due paia di ferri circolari:
3.5 mm con cavo lungo 80 cm (un paio è usato solo per la chiusura delle spalle).
Se necessario modificare il numero dei ferri per ottenere il campione corretto.
Altro:
2 marcapunti.
Filo di scarto.
Ago da lana e forbici.
Spilli e metro da sarta per il bloccaggio.
