Main colour requires about 130 yards, contrast colour takes 60 yards or less.

Sample shown was knit in Rowan Calmer, using 5mm needles. Most DK weight yarns will work with 4mm to get gauge, though take time to swatch the colourwork chart as well - you may need to go up a needle size!
