Hat and Mitts are worked from the bottom up. Slipped stitches on
rnds 2 & 6 of the Brick Stitch pattern are in place to help avoid
staircasing in the color changes.

Sizes: Adult Small (Medium, Large)

Finished measurements:

• Hat circumference: 20 (22, 24)”
• Mitts circumference: 7 (8, 9)”

Yarn: Plymouth Yarn Encore Worsted (75% acrylic, 25% wool, 100 g/200 yds)

• 9601 Regal Red (MC) - 1 skein
• 0194 Medium Gray (CC) - 1 skein

Gauge: 16 sts x 27 rnds = 4” in Brick Stitch patt with larger needle

Needles: US Size 7 (4.5 mm) 16” circular & set of DPNs, and US Size 5 (3.75 mm)
16” ciruclar & set of DPNs, or size needed to obtain gauge
