This Teddy is super simple to make and low sew as it’s crocheted all in one piece. The legs and arms are crocheted on to the body then continued to the head. The only pieces to sew on are the muzzle, ears and eyes if using crochet eyes.

Written in English US terms with abbreviations for UK

Materials
Main colour approx 95 metres of chunky polyester yarn (I used Aldi baby Yarn 95 metres per 100g) and had 2 metres spare. (Please note because of individual tension / hook size you may use a bit more or less yarn than I did)
A small amount of white yarn for the muzzle
5 mm crochet hook for the bear
20mm Safety eyes or
a small amount of black, white and brown or blue dk / weight 3 yarn and a 3mm hook to crochet the eyes
Polyester toy filling
Needle

PATTERN NOTES
All parts are made going around in a spiral, I used yarn under sc to get tighter stitches and invisible decreases.

The Bear will measure approx 8” tall.

The bear can also be made with safety eyes, I recommend sewing the muzzle on and placing the eyes at the top, at either side of the muzzle before stuffing and making the last 4 rounds of the head.

The bear can also be made with dk yarn and a 3mm hook to make it a lot smaller.

I made a fluffy version using a strand of dk and a strand of king cole truffle held together, it made it a bit easier to see the stitches, it did turn out a little smaller.

I made one of my bears into a care bear, I made a circle in white, then made a rainbow applique I sewed the applique before sewing on the tummy.
