This vest is knit from the top down wit the Waffle pattern worked across both fronts and back. Buttonholes are worked on both front bands. The buttons will be sewn over the holes on the appropriate side, closing the hole as you sew the button on. This ensures that the buttons and buttonholes line up perfectly. To prevent buttonband gaps, the buttons are placed close together and the front of the vest is 2-3” wider than the back.
