Another kitchen towel or guest towel from the To(wel) series. This time with a light checked pattern.

A garter stitch border framed this lovely towel. A dainty lace motif with cable runs along both sides reminiscent of the stripes found in old kitchen towels. An easy-to-knit textured motif decorates the center.

The instructions are written for four sizes:
20 x 28 cm / 8“ x 11“
30 x 42 cm / 12“ x 16.5“
40 x 56 cm / 16“ x 22“
50 x 70 cm / 20“ x 28

The instructions can easily be adapted for working it wider by knitting more repeats of the center motif can be found under „Variation“.

Depending the size and your tension, you will need approx. 130 m for size 1, 210 m for size 2, 400 m for size 3 and 590 m for size 4.
