This kit pattern was only available as part of Patternworks’ Essential Accessories™ Club. When purchased as part of the club, kit includes the pattern plus two balls of Liberty Wool Light (one each in two different colors) to knit one hat. This kit is the sixth installment in the club and features a slip-stitch colorwork pattern. Optional buttons are non-functional (not included in kit). Hat is knit flat and seamed at the side. Colorwork is done mosaic-style using slipped stitches, so only one strand of yarn is used on each row; color changes every two rows.

U.S. 5 (3.75mm) straight or 16” circular needles
Two 3/4” buttons (optional)

Gauge:
5.5 sts = 1” in colorwork pattern
5.5 sts = 1” in garter stitch
