Shade: Silver; 3 (3, 3, 4, 4, 5) skeins

Gauge: 22 sts & 32 rows over 10 cm / 4” over stocking stitch after blocking

Needles: 3.25 mm / US 3 circular needle, 60-100 cm (24-40”) length depending on size made

Notions: Long length of smooth waste yarn in similar weight for afterthought hem, 2 locking stitch markers, stitch holder, a single 3.25 mm / US 3 double-pointed needle for cast off

Notes: Tank is worked in two pieces—the handkerchief hem is worked as a flat rectangle with a contrast scrap yarn worked for one row in the centre of the rectangle. When the rectangle is finished the scrap yarn is removed and the live stitches are picked up in the round and tank is finished bottom up.
