Ribbed scarves are great for keeping cozy in winter with that extra thickness, but repeating the same rows can become, well, boring for the knitter.

Just as a really good book with short chapters will keep you reading, the frequently moving and changing patterns in this scarf will tempt you to keep knitting to see what happens next. Add to that bulky yarn on large needles and this scarf will metaphorically keep you turning the pages.

The scarf features 5 different rib patterns, is charted and has full written instructions.

The crochet hook is needed for the cast on only. You may wish to use a needle 1 size smaller for the cast on/off for firmer edges.
