The pattern includes instructions for both gloves and mittens, with mittens being especially suitable for smaller children’s sizes.

Worked from the bottom up in the round, they feature a honeycomb cable motif on the back of the hand.

The pattern comes with helpful videos on my YouTube channel to support you while knitting these gloves:

  • How to Knit Glove Fingers — Step-by-Step Tutorial (YouTube link here)
  • Trek Glove — Pattern Introduction & Design Story (YouTube link here)

How the pattern is laid out:
The instructions are presented in four columns: Left Glove, Right Glove, Left Mitten, Right Mitten. When steps are identical, the relevant columns are merged, or the instruction states “Work as for …”.
The glove instructions are longer. Once the mitten instructions finish, the remaining steps are presented in two columns for the gloves only.
