Tribalista is a geometric pattern inspired by the indigenous cultures. It is created using overlay mosaic crochet technique (one row, one colour) and it is a very relaxing pattern.

You can play with the number of repeats to create smaller or bigger blankets or any other house decoration item. If you are an adventurous crocheter you can use it to create garments too.

Pattern is written in English (US Terms) and has pictures and charts. There is a print friendly version without pictures if you don’t need to follow them. There are also a Left-handed version, Spanish and a Dutch.

Materials

In my sample I used Järbo Cookie and Hobbii Mega Ball DK yarns and a 4.5 mm and 4 mm hooks.

Finished Size

My blanket ended up with a final size of 90 cm x 135 cm (29 in x 53 in), approximately. You can customize the size of your blanket by adding or decreasing repeats of the pattern, but keep in mind that this will affect the amount of yarn required.
