The rich, dark colours of the Trona tunic were inspired by the flowers of early Autumn. Deep purple, thistle, lilac and fuchsia can be seen in the Michaelmas daisies, gladioli and heathers in my garden. I placed a single panel of flowers against a French Navy background for maximum impact and the bi-colour rib trims echo the flowers perfectly.
