Spring 2022

Spruce Lane Designs x Manos del Uruguay

Tulips - one of the quintessential Spring flowers. The gentle color gradations in our fingering silk-and-wool blend Fino in the color Chemise remind us of the gorgeous color variations found among the numerous varieties of garden tulips.

//

This is a crescent-shaped shawl. It begins with a garter tab cast-on followed by rows of stockinette stitch with increases worked at each end of both RS and WS rows.

After increasing to the specified number of stitches, the shawl finishes with a simple lace border resembling tiny tulips. The piece shown has eleven repeats of the 8-row border pattern, but you can work more or fewer repeats for a larger or smaller shawl. You may need to buy extra yarn if making a significantly larger shawl.
