This decadent little scarf requires just a single skein of laceweight or light fingering yarn. The lace patterns are easy to follow and thus provide relaxing knitting while enjoying a special yarn. Blocking is required to fully reveal the lacy patterns.

In order to achieve symmetry in the lace patterns, this scarf is worked in two pieces from the ends toward the centre. The two pieces are then grafted together using kitchener stitch.

Skills/Techniques Required:

  • Working with laceweight or light fingering yarn
  • Basic lace knitting using yarn overs and decreases
  • Grafting using kitchener stitch
  • Blocking of knitted lace
