Knit these popular illusion blocks in mosaic garter stitch! Just one strand of color works every two rows while the other strand rests at the edge. Simple repeats allow you to customize the size.

Two contrasting color skeins AllHemp6 will make one towel (and maybe a matching dishcloth with colors reversed). Try your camera’s “black & white” setting to look at your yarns in grayscale and check the contrast between your selection(s).
