Pattern description from The Celtic Collection: “The source for this dramatic design in the granite pillar at Turoe, County Galway that is carved with abstract Celtic spirals. To convey the grainy, glinting surface of the granite I have used a mixture of shiny and dull silk and wool yarns in the appropriate colours. The regular pattern on the neckline of this sweater echoes the rhythm of the steps around the base of the stone.”
