My brother and I are often mistaken for twins, each in a different color story: one in warm tones, one in cool. This pattern celebrates balance and connection — two worlds that mirror each other, just like us. Using finer yarn allowed me to craft intricate motifs and a variety of shapes, inspired by Navajo patterns and their mirrored, repeating designs. I’m so happy with how this beanie turned out, especially in the lovely neutral tones from the Purl Soho Linen Quill collection. The warm and cool versions are inspired by the stunning temperature shifts found in the desert, capturing that beautiful contrast where day meets night.
