Ultima Thule Legwarmers echo the traditional crafts of
the Arctic region. They are knitted top down in the
round and they are slightly shaped. The pattern includes instructions for three sizes.

Materials

Jamieson & Smith 2ply Jumper Weight (4ply weight / fingering) 100% Real Shetland Wool
115m / 125yds / 25g ball

Yarn quantities for all sizes:
Yarn A - Shade 81: Charcoal 2 x 25g ball
Yarn B - Shade 1403 Red: 1 x 25g ball
Yarn C - Shade 2 Natural: 1 x 25g ball
Yarn D - Shade 203 Grey:1 x 25g ball
Yarn E - Shade FC12 Mix Green: 1 x 25g ball

3mm (UK 11/US2-3) short DPNs, set of five needles,
or your preferred needles for working small diameters in
the round, or size required to obtain tension

Tension

32 sts and 36 rnds = 10cm/4in using 3mm needles over colourwork pattern and 28 sts and 43 rnds = 10cm/ 4in over 2x2 rib pattern.
