This pattern is available from uradale.com for £5.00.

This Wirkin Gansey (working sweater) is knitted from the top down. It features a moss stitch collar folded double, garter slip cuffs and body rib, and textured shoulders for extra durability. The yoke, body and arms are knitted in the round, while the collar and ribs are knitted in the flat. The jumper is blocked to make the back slightly longer than the front for extra comfort. The jumper is virtually seamless, with seaming only needed for closing up the collar, cuffs and ribs. The warm, earthy colours are a celebration to the soil that feeds us. This jumper is knitted in double knit weight. The design is a loose, casual fit for an average sized adult male.
