“I liked designing this poncho with a little more structure; the turtleneck, seamed sides and armhole openings will make certain this poncho doesn’t twist around or become too fussy to wear. The allover cable and lace stitch motif make it quite the fun knit and a statement piece.” – Michele Wang
CONSTRUCTION
- Garment is worked in two pieces, then seamed together along the sides and shoulders to the neck opening.
- Openings for the arms are worked into the Front. The ribbed trim for the openings is picked up and worked after blocking.
- Stitches are picked up around the neck opening and the turtleneck Collar is worked circularly.
