Valley hood is a really lovely and soft hood with a neck warmer that is super practical in the cold winter weather. It is knitted top-down in half brioche with details in twisted rib. The main piece is designed with an oversized fit so the hood drapes beautifully over the head and allows for some movement, without becoming too loose.

The transition from hood to neck and then to cowl is knitted on a smaller size needle in twisted rib, not only for the nice appearance but also so the knit sits snugly against a neck that is sensitive to the cold. Last but not least, the hood’s cowl is knitted by dividing the neck stitches into front and back pieces. It is wide, and just long enough to cover the upper part of the chest, and is finished with a couple of rounds of decreases to achieve a more feminine and organic look.
