’vapor’ won 1st place for accessories in ‘the 2009 aslan trends creative knitting contest’.

this neck wrap knits up fast in light as a cloud super bulky yarns. the main piece is cabled with ruffled edges. it can be worn alone as a short scarf or wrapped and secured with a scarf pin. the long thin center tie is not an i-cord, but it’s twisted stitches cause it to curl lengthwise into a sweet tube-like shape.

as is, it adds an almost victorian flair to any coat, but vapor can easily be modernized by using one color for the main cabled piece and a contrasting color for the center tie and the ruffled edges.
