Vintage Granny Square Scarf
This was designed for the 2017 Granny-Spiration Challenge.
I used my Granny Square Scarf as a basis. The biggest difference is that I created two pieces and sewed them together so the granny stitch pattern would be facing the same direction from both ends, whereas in my original Granny Square Scarf, the pattern is right side up on one side, and upside down on the other end. I never noticed before working this one up. I also added a fun fringe :)
Materials I Used:
- About 325 yards of worsted weight yarn - I used about one and a half skeins of Berroco’s Vintage in the Mushroom (5104) colorway
- I9/5.5mm Crochet Hook
- #18 Tapestry Needle for Weaving in Ends
Material Notes:
Yarn Alternatives: Deborah Norville’s Everyday Soft, Lion Brand’s Vanna’s Choice, Hobby Lobby’s I Love This Yarn, Red Heart’s Soft
Time Spent:
I had my scarf in about two and a half hours.
