Viola: Top with Cap Sleeves

This ultrafeminine vest is knit with the lightest wool yarn. The little cap sleeves are made with cables that become wider and wider toward the top. The increases are hidden in the cable twists and are made on the same row as the cable crossings.

Sizes: S (M, L, XL)
Skeins: 3 (4, 4, 5)
Bust: 34 3/4 (37 3/4, 41, 43.5) in. / 88 (96, 106, 112) cm.
Length: 24 (24.5, 25 1/4, 25.5) in. / 61 (62, 64, 65) cm.

Needles: US 11 (8 mm) straight and 16” (40 cm) circular.

Notions: Stitch markers, cable needle, stitch holders, tapestry needle.

Note: The top is knit with a special, very lofty yarn. The wool fiber is contained within a tulle fabric net. If you want to knit with a different (more generally available) yarn at the same gauge, you will need almost twice the number of balls of yarn.
