The design of Visserman was inspired by Dutch fishermen’s ganseys after Stella Ruhe held a workshop on traditional Dutch ganseys at 2014 Shetland Wool Week.

Visserman is knitted with two different shades of Jamieson & Smith 2-Ply Jumper Weight 100% Shetland Wool held double. The stitch pattern includes knit and purl stitches, cables and a special diamond pattern that was traditionally used for protection.
