Have a pile of fingering weight leftovers you can’t throw away? Perfect.
Voyage Mittens turn small bits of yarn into a full project using a simple repeating colorwork motif that’s easy to memorize and fun to watch grow. Each pair comes out completely unique depending on the colors you choose, making them ideal for minis, scraps, or single skeins you’ve been saving.
The fabric is lightweight but warm, and the colorwork keeps the knitting engaging. Video tutorials are included to walk you through the techniques, so they work well as a first colorwork mitten or a relaxing one for experienced knitters.
Design Details
The repeating stranded colorwork motif travels across the hand and shifts depending on the scraps you choose, so every pair looks different.
They’re a small project that still feels satisfying to knit and useful to wear, especially for yarn you’ve been saving and not sure how to use.
